EGYPTIAN ARCHITECTURAL WALKING TOUR

Explore the styles of a culture known for its focus on the "after life." Lake View's own Interment Coordinator, Jennifer Cali, will lead us to monuments and mausoleums designed for the pharaohs; includes Wade Chapel's interior. Reservations and a $6.00 fee required.

BAT NIGHT  
Friday, August 27, 2010 
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

During this joint venture with the Cleveland Metroparks and Lake View Cemetery, Tim Krynak will discuss different types of bats and set up nets to catch them near the ravine of Section 13. Reservations and a $6.00 fee required.

You can arrange a tour led by a volunteer docent -
normally scheduled April through October

A typical walking tour is 1½ hours and includes the Garfield Monument and Wade Chapel. Groups must have a minimum of 12 people and be prepared to walk for the entire tour. There is no cost for the tour - however donations to The Lake View Cemetery Foundation are appreciated. (email link) For planning purposes, please contact our Community Relations department at least two weeks prior to your desired tour date.

GROUP BUS TOURS
You may arrange a bus tour (your own arrangements) and we will supply a volunteer docent to guide your group for a 1½-hour tour. There is no cost for the tour; however, donations to The Lake View Cemetery Foundation would be appreciated.

SELF GUIDED AUDIO TOUR
If you would rather go at your own pace, just pick up a cassette or CD at the office just inside the Euclid Avenue entrance to direct you on a self-guided tour, which includes stops at Wade Chapel and the Garfield Monument. Buildings are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily, during April through October. A RENTAL fee of $5.00 is required for either a cassette or CD.

SUNDAY LOLLY THE TROLLEY TOURS
From June 28th - September 6th (except for July 5th), Lake View Cemetery will conduct a 1 hour guided tour of historic Lake View Cemetery, aboard Lolly the Trolley, with an additional 15 minute stop at the exquisite Wade Chapel. The Garfield Monument may be visited before or after the trolley tour. The tour starts at 1:00 p.m. behind the Garfield Monument. Cost is $7.00 per person.
Reservations required — limited seating.
